Green Burger King

Burger King Goes GreenBurger King are not really known for their environmentally friendliness, today however they have announced that they will be installing special speed bump which captures the kenetic energy or cars passing over it.

While burger king have claimed this is a move to go green, I am not sure the amount of electricity these speed bumps create will cover the amount of gas fumes released as the slow moving car creates enough power to clear the bump.

Either way it is nice to see the yet another company jumping… Continue Reading»

Hello Kitty Taser

This cute but deadly device caught my attention today, then made me laugh out loud.

And while there are some suspicions that this may just be a photo-shopped image, there have now been confirmed reports that the Hello Kitty taser gun is available to buy in store now!

The Hello Kitty Taser gun is a modified version of the Taser C2 Metallic pink, produced for the discerning female looking for a compact, stylish, personal protection device.

It does however worry me a little, knowing how much the Japanese girls like a… Continue Reading»

Sony Release NetBook

Despite Sony’s protests that they would never create a netbook it appears that the new Sony Vaio W might just be that.  Now as most of us know netbooks are nothing new, they have been around for nearly a decade in one form or another, and during that time they were classed as small, shit,  laptops.

Recently however they have taken the world by storm, especially to those people who just need something cheap to use as they travel.

For this reason I think that the new Sony Viao W Series might just fail.  Sony have always brought out high quality, but… Continue Reading»

USB Microwave from Heinz

Heinz Microwave I have to admit, I thought we had pretty much seen an end to the numerous releases of USB products.  Today however a leaked report showed concern by the Microwave Association after Heinz unveiled it’s plans for a USB powered microwave to heat it’s pudding sized products.

The microwave association is not the only group worried however, Cell Phone companies have been cast a worrying glance after it was revealed this product uses phone frequencies to cook the food.

Remember the hypochondria about brains being fried and cancer being spawned… Continue Reading»

How to Speed Up Vista in Five Simple Free Steps

I have always thought of Windows Vista as a heavily encumbered operating system, in much the same way as I did about Windows XP when it first came out.  However in the same way I found XP a reliable, well built operating system I found myself with a new laptop and Windows Vista already installed.  Needless to say I was impressed with it’s functionality, reliability and easy of use.  It does come with some problems however, just to start with Windows Vista visual effects use up 15% of the CPU usage.

This reason alone was enough to start me looking in… Continue Reading»
