I have always thought of Windows Vista as a heavily encumbered operating system, in much the same way as I did about Windows XP when it first came out.  However in the same way I found XP a reliable, well built operating system I found myself with a new laptop and Windows Vista already installed.  Needless to say I was impressed with it’s functionality, reliability and easy of use.  It does come with some problems however, just to start with Windows Vista visual effects use up 15% of the CPU usage.

Windows 7 is the next generation of Windows after windows Vista.  There is not much currently known about wWindows 7 at this version in time appart from that seen from some vague screenshots and that it has been changed from Vienna to Windows 7 to signify ‘Simplicity’.

Persoanlyl I think XP is simple enough, and that any attempts to make windows simpler will result in complete loss of fnuctionality.

The Microsoft XBox 360 is set to drop its prices yet again to $299, thats £150 to us poms. This Xbox 360 price drop is yet another snub to Sony’s Playstation 3 which is still hideously expensive and is losing a huge amount of market share to gamers.
