Windows 7 was a pretty minor update in a lot of ways, there were still however a few changes which left users flummoxed. One of those was no run command in Windows 7, not a big deal to some people, until something asks them to use the run command in Windows 7.

Fortunately it is really easy to get the run command in Windows 7, there are some simple steps you can take to the windows 7 run command appear!

Just to let you know, you do not always need the Run Command in Windows 7, the Windows 7 search box is actually pretty smart, and will act like the run command.

To make the run command appear in Windows 7,  you first need to go to the control panel.

From there click Appearance and Personalization

Choose Taskbar and Start Menu

Click the Start Menu Tab, and then click Customize

In these options you can click a check box which is by Run Command.

Click OK, and you will now have the Run Command in Windows 7!
