I have just seen the review of the latest long life fuel cell for laptops. THis protootype is designed for military use, but carries a stunning 14 hour battery life at surprisingly little cost!

Now I don’t know about you, but 2 years after I bought my laptop the battery life skimmed itself down to around half an hour, it slowed itself down and the heat from the battery was immense.

The new 14 hour Methanol Fuel Cell battery only gives out 25 watts of power, but then you think about how low powerd you could make a laptop nowdays to do things like word documents and internet access maybe we will see a slight regression in technology for energy efficient low power components, so people really can work on the move rather than have 45 minutes on a super duper latest technology laptop.

I would love to sit down by the river and work on my laptop, maybe this is the technology that can do it for me!
