The new Micro SD Card portable projector available from Drink Stuff Is probably one of the best releases I have seen in a long time.  Costing only £99 ($198) It is basically a small projector that runs off 4 AA batteries and can play movies off SD Cards. Its a damn small unit measuring 165mm long and 105mm wide.  Its screen size is fairly limited at around one metre square , but lets face it this is a handy portable device, not for a serious home projection unit!

Along with playing off SD cards it can also plug the Portable Projector into DVD players and so on, although it is not really what it was designed for.

All in all this is an amazing device, It’s small enough projector to carry around with ease, rivals most television sizes and can provide entertainment in the most unexpected of places.  Imagine you and a few mate at a train station, bored and waiting.  who wouldn’t want to pull out a metre wide Projector and watch a film at a time like that?

And with its MP3 and Images functions you will never run out of things to use this mini portable projector for!

The only downside with this machine is that it does use four AA batteries, so if you don’t have some decent recharables this projector may cost youa  little more than you intended.
