Blu-ray Cracked.
When Sony first announced their HD DVD format, otherwise known as Blu-ray they said it would be uncrackable for 10 years, minimum. It does however seem that our friends at Skysoft had already cracked it in November, they were simply waiting to see which format won the war before releasing a new version of their software.
Personally I think this is a good thing, not for the aspect of people burning their own copies of Blu-ray movies, but more because I hate the fact that Sony is always so intent on saying what I can and cannot do with their digital media.
Sometimes I might want to watch movies on my PSP, sometimes I might want to watch them on my computer and other times on TV. Same with MP3′s and audio CD’s. I think Sony’s biggest mistake is heavily funding anti-piracy measures while causing no end of problems for their actual customers. It is no wonder people are moving to other downloadable media and even downloading movies and songs for free illegally
