UniveRSS: A 3D RSS reader for Windows Vista
I am sure only the Readers who have Windows Vista installed will love this article, for the rest of you it is time to upgrade your Windows XP to Vista or get rid of Linux (OK! I am joking here. I know we all love our operating systems.) UniveRSS is a 3D feed reader for Windows vista which shows your favorite RSS feed in a stunning 3D view. There are not much features in this RSS reader except for the eye candy which I am sure all its users will love ( I can say that because that was a reason you have Vista installed, isn’t it). This software, developed by Microsoft, is based on the not so famous Windows Presentation Foundation
UniveRSS is a 3D RSS feed reader for Windows Vista. It leverages the Windows Presentation Foundation and provides a stunning way of visualizing RSS feeds and their content. It introduces a full-screen 3D universe where galaxies represent the folders of your RSS feed directory, and the stars are represented by the spinning cubes that hold the feed information. Size and position of the feed cubes indicate how many unread items they contain.

System Requirements:
* 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
* 1 GB of system memory
* Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver, 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum), Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.
It is also open source (Microsoft wants to create Buzz with it) and you will need to first register for the Panel to get the download link.

I guess there’s are few of us out there that like Vista. I do. Cool tool, but I always find that the newness wears off of these visual toys and I end up going right back to something more “normal”, but that’s not the word I was searching for.
This actually looks nice, I dont have vista though. Wonder if i can make it work in wine.
