Turn Your Windows XP PC into Mac
The best thing about Macs is their operating system. Since their launch, I have been greatly inspired by looks of Mac OS X and wanted to convert my Windows XP PC into Mac. The elegant look of Mac is what inspires me a lot. Elements such as the genie effect for minimizing windows, the animated dock at the bottom for shortcuts, and glass-like widgets for displaying mini information panels make it a dream operating system for every geek who wants clutter free user interface.

Here are some of the cool apps that will make your Windows XP PC mimic the real Mac OS X.
First of all you will need Windows blinds and then download this theme. After that you will need ObjectDock, RKLauncher or MobiDock to get the shortcuts at the bottom of your desktop.
You will need wallpapers, which you can download from here, or search in Google. Then comes the ‘Logon Screen’, you can find it here. If you are not familiar with changing the logon screen, you can find more info here. Some cool ‘Boot Screens’ can be downloaded here and the required info is here.
After that you will require Mac OS X icons, Panther icons and theme for Firefox, or you can download Safari for Windows . For iChat you can try Trillian and download some skins for it.
For Dashboard, you can use Yahoo widget Gallery or Samurize. Use Rainmeter for skinable desktop statistics and Rainlendar for skinable desktop calendar. For Expose, you can use WinPlosion.
There is also better for those lazy geeks. You can download the entire Transformation pack which will convert your PC into Mac, and you don’t need to download anything but that software. It is called FlyaKiteOSX. You can check the screen shots of FlyaKiteOSX before you download it.
