Yet another skateboard variant
Skateboarding has clearly evolved with time, and today there are many variations of the skateboard running around. The Boom Borda is the latest in a long line, featuring an environmentally friendly skateboard that hails from the UK. A 400 watt electric motor powers it, letting you go up to 15 miles (on flat ground presumably – steep, ascending gradients will probably suck a whole lot of juice) per charge. A digital handheld radio pistol grip controller is used to control it, and you can zip along at a top speed of 25mph – assuming you haven’t fallen off by then. It takes approximately 2 to 4 hours for a full charge and retails for $462.99 each. Great for intra-city use IMHO.
