I don’t normally spend much time playing iPhone games, I use my iPhone much more for business than pelasure. However I was at SXSWi 2011 and stumbled across the Traveller-AR iPhone MMORPG. HBO are a company that has produced some great TV over the years. Despite their accolades for shows such as Band of Brothers, they always seem to do something which just gives them a bad name.

Their latest bashing by the press came after Jeff Cusson, the Vice President of Corporate Affairs, said that “HBO believes in content exclusivity, especially for high-value content”. This is not the first time that HBO have talked about what sounds very much like charging a premium to inflate the value of it’s content.
